Hello, Blog - been a long time

I just realized that it has been FOREVER and didn't even know if my blog was still out there in "never, never land". . . but it is, therefore, I'm going to try to keep it up this time.

Great St. Patty's Day weekend. Spent the time at the Elrod home with a traditional corned beef, potato and cabbage dinner. Then played some fun games with Julie & Adam Nemeth and the Elrod family. Fun to spend time with the Grandkids. Brooke and Matt didn't make it, because, Brooke came down with a nasty flu. Here's hoping she's feeling better soon.

Freezing cold right now - - can't wait for a warm up. The rain all weekend put a damper on all outdoor activity, therefore "game night" was perfect for St. Patty's Day.

Until next time . . .

Father's Day 2010

Father's Day was very enjoyable for Steve and I. Complete with our goofy grandchildren. All in all it was a wonderful with our kids, friends & grandchildren. The day with full of swimming, eating, relaxing. We so enjoy these days with our family.

Wow - Can't believe it's been so long.

I just signed onto my blog to see if it was still there. . . and it is! :) It's been so long since I posted. I decided that I have to keep this up. It's so fun looking back at the old pictures.

I know there were some who actually read my blog. So, I have made the decision to continue it.

Our lives are blessed with our two Grandchildren Taylor & Logan. Ozzie, (our Goldendoodle) of course is an important part of lives also. Steve and I feel so very fortunate for our wonderful family and friends. We recently traveled to Peoria for Memorial Day. It was so great seeing the Dickerson family in full force. The love and acceptance that pours out from that family is amazing.

Michelle and Brian have completed their move to their new house. Thanks to the many people who helped with the move. Ethan, Aubrey & Brooklyn have already met friends in the new neighborhood and Logan has mastered the stairs - so all is good on the Elrod front. Michelle seems so very happy. One mishap while the move was going on. A door fell against the wall (it was taken off it's hinges so they could move larger things in the the house) - it caused Logan to fall (not bad) - but Michelle heard the noise and then the cry of Logan and went running. She slipped and fell on her wrist. I fear it is broken. We will know more after her 2:00 Dr.'s appointment today. She was pretty upset - how do you move with a broken wrist? How do you unpack? How do you change a diaper? (It's her right wrist).

Brooke and Matt are doing well. Brooke is now employed by a large plumbing company, and seems to really like her job. Matt recently got moved down to the Riverside Area for work. This is GREAT. He no longer is traveling up that Mountain an hour and a half each way. He's been able to enjoy more time with Taylor, since he gets off work earlier.

Steve and I have been busy at work, enjoying Grandchildren and family. We especially enjoy our weekends (duh, who doesn't??).

Well, I wanted to keep up my blog . . so, I'll be visiting The Dickerson Diaries on a regular basis, as I used to. I'll try to post pictures, etc. Shame on me for the long time absence! But . . . I'm back!!!!! I'll post a link to FB so you guys know where to find this.

Until next time. . . Love to my friends & and family! Teri
