Jimmy Buffett Concert

Well, we attended the Jimmy Buffett concert with all the other Parrotheads on Saturday. What a blast. Alot of Elrod Family also attended as well as the Roberts Family. Mark & Shelly brought there mobile home, so we had a "pre-party" by cooking out and of course having some fruity rum drinks to prepare for the show. They opened the gates at 3:00 for those who wanted to blend some drinks, dress up or do whatever all the parrotheads do. It was great fun.

Now we're into "FINAL WEDDING PLANNING MODE". It's won't be long now. Matt came over tonight with a very swollen wrist and said he feels like he might have broken something today at his big Enterprise softball tournament by diving for a ball and rolling on top of it. I told him to get get it check out, but he said he did not want a cast on for the wedding. So . . . we'll see. Hopefully it's just a bad sprain.

Anyway, we missed Gaye & Ernie this year at the Buffet concert. (They were with us last year). All, in all the music was certainly not disappointing, and of course the "Party Atmosphere" is like no other at a Buffett concert. That's it for now. Until next time.

Hey All - - do you like the new look? I thought I'd change it up a bit. Anyway, if I can figure out how to do this, you should see pics to Brooke opening our "special wedding present" (we did the same for Matt and Michelle) and the Oz dog - - just kind of chillin' (video) - - - we'll see, it's the next post.

Can't wait to see all that are attending the wedding and will see the rest at the "next wedding" (Memorial Day - - Great time for a Dickerson wedding!!!)

Bachelorette Party Tomorrow!

Brooke's bachelorette party is tomorrow and she was kind enough to invite her future mother-in-law (ME! :)

It will start off at Glen Ivy with relaxation (and any kind of treatment I can do to my skin with the mineral water to make me look younger). Then we will head into the college town of Fullerton (Cal State Fullerton is where Matt, Michelle, Brooke, Courtney and many others attended). Steve (bless his heart) has agreed to be the designated driver of many girls and one old lady (that would be me - - wait .. . Sandy might come too! lol) Thanks to Matt's Enterprise Career, we have rented a 15 passenger van. . . which Steve will chauffeur. (poor Steve)

I'm sure there will be pictures to come - - because I think that is why I was invited - - "Official Photographer/Keep us young kids out of trouble person". Matt and Brooke (in my opinion) chose good Bachelor/Bachelorette parties. Matt's going up to the Mtn's river rafting - - Brooke doing the whole Glen Ivy thing, which we all will enjoy. At least it's not a completely horrible weekend for either.
