Okay, I think I'm understanding this a little more! So, for my first blog, I will tell you that I got this idea from my brother Eric, who also has a blog on this space. So fun to read and "keep up". So anyone else out there game?
For my birthday Steve, Teri, Mark & Shelly Roberts and Sandy & Tom Lynch headed for Lake Tahoe. . . (one of my favorite places). It was breathtaking in the winter. I've been there in the summer, but this was my first visit in winter. We enjoyed a comedy club one night, took the tram up to the top of the mountain and witnesses a young man proposing to his girlfriend . . how romantic. It was a great weekend.
Coming up is our annual "Blues Cruise" to Mexico, where we are usually joined with many treasured friends. Steve will travel back to Peoria this coming weekend to visit with his mother. She seems to be doing very well, but, as we both agree - - it's important to make visits as often as possible when a parent (or parents) start getting older. Life is precious and we must make the most of it while we have the time.
Last night Teri (a birthday gift from the girls at work) went to her "eyelash applying appt." - - that's right. Fake eyelashes applied One, by one by one by one by one. 3 1/2 hours later I had eyelashes that look like Michelle's. The only problem was I got lost (somehow) in Riverside. No problem (I'm thinking to myself!) I have navigation! I punched in our home address and started down the dark road. . . all of a sudden the damn thing starts speaking FRENCH to me. I couldn't figure out for the life of me how to get it off the French language. So, like in the old days, I called Steve saying, "I'm completely lost". An hour and a half later, I found my way home. (This place was about 20 minutes from home).
I'm going to "try" to post pics from Lake Tahoe. Make work - - may not. The "operator" is still learning this stuff. But, hey - - if I can do My Space, I certainly can figure this out right?
Until next post!

Looking good Teri!
Another thing you can do is link words in your posts to other places on the web.
For example...when you discuss your Myspace account, you might want to link the word "myspace" with your site over there.
The way you do that is first open another window and bring up the myspace account, then go to your post and highlight the word myspace, then click the little earth with a sort of chain link over it (near the insert photo button). A window will pop up asking for where you want to link to. Past in your myspace address, and the link will be created in you blog post.
