Wedding invitations are printed! :)

The wedding invitations are printed, (thanks to Rey Nelson Printing, Inc.) They will go to the bindery for finally trimming and scoring on Monday and should be out in the mail soon. Brooke designed them by drawing out exactly what she wanted on a piece of paper and then our pre-press person (Charles) took it from idea to a beautiful work of art on the computer. They turned out so pretty. No "sneak preview" of the invite - you'll have to wait to get them in the mail.

Steve and I have finally made our reservations for the wedding. We will be staying at the Rio. We plan on being there the Thursday before the wedding and staying through Sunday night. We're really looking forward to seeing everyone.

Nothing too much new around here. Steve and I have spent alot of weekends at home, just enjoying the pool and usually Matt & Brooke, or Michelle, Brian and Fam (or all) will spend the day with us for swimming at cooking on the grill. "Oz dog" is doing great. He's turned into such a GREAT adult. Very loving and gentle with the kids. Okay, now and then he gets a little over excited and the rough side of him comes out, but for the most part he's a very affectionate dog. He thrives for a good pet or scratch behind the ears from anyone! Our hummingbirds are visiting in FULL FORCE. Steve and I went to change out the hummingbird food and Steve said they were buzzing his head as he went to hang up the feeder. We have one of the feeders hung outside of our kitchen window, and it's fun to watch them while doing the dishes. They're such interesting little creatures to watch.

Well, that's about all for now. Our lives have been pretty quiet lately. We've been all about RELAXING on our weekends, and it feels GREAT!

Until next blog. . . . . hope everyone's GREAT!

A beautiful prick

Steve and I decided to transplant our cactus plants and put them in the ground, instead of in the pots they were in. With the help of Brian & Matt, mission accomplished!! These things started out sooo small, and little by little as we put them in bigger containers they grew and grew and grew. Well, after about 2 days of being in the ground, we noticed that one of them started getting a flower on it. It was almost like the cactus saying, "Thank you for my freedom". Well, two days later we were overwhelmed when we saw the flowers on one of them. We had to take pictures, because the flowers typically only last for a day or two. Anyway, here's some pics. (As you can see from the pictures - the bees love these big flowers!!)

Unbelievable - huh?

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY! (ok - I'm a little late!)

Fireworks OUTSIDE ONLY! - - Perrrrrrrrrrfect ending (for Steve) to a perfect 4th.

The Volleyball "audience" - - Steve and Rey.

Brian snoozing after a hard morning of golf with Matt. But, he still seems to keep his desert dish straight! (I had to remove it from his hand! - - haha)

Michelle with "hands up", as a coach probably told her once, anticipating the ball.

Not sure what was so funny, but Michelle & Matt are sure getting a kick out of it!

Ball's a coming!

ACTION SHOT!

Here's some pics from a smaller gathering at our house - it was very hot, therefore most are pool pictures of Matt & Michelle playing volleyball with Tom & Sandy. Since I'm not allowed to show pictures or post pictures of Sandy in her bathing suit, you will only get to view one side of the net. Hope you all had a GREAT 4th! God Bless the US! Teri
